On October 8, 1997, the Mineral Production Sharing Agreement (MPSA) denominated as 076-97-IX was granted by the Philippine Government through the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) – Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) to Siennalyn Gold Mining Corporation (SGMC). The MPSA covers 4,116 hectares contract area situated in the Municipalities of RT Lim, Ipil and Titay of the Province of Zamboanga Sibugay. Then on April 16, 2024, DENR granted renewal of the SGMC’s MPSA for another 25 years.
